Insiders HQ is set to launch on October 12, 2010. We just reviewed the second video of the Insiders HQ pre-launch, and offer the details of our review here.
On Tuesday, October 5th, 2010, Insiders HQ creator Ran Aroussi released a new pre-launch video to build awareness of his upcoming Insiders HQ launch.
In this second video, which is just under 22 minutes long, Ran interviewed two people. Plus, the video gave a quick update on the experiment that Ran and Phil were conducting. The two people Ran interviewed were Phil Mansour, who will be teaching the traffic component of Insiders HQ. The second person Ran interviewed was actually a student of his: Emil Paz of PPC Bully.
The video opened with a bit of an overview, with Ran stating that he’d interview Phil and Emil, as well as give an update on the site they had set up for the launch. It has only been a few days, yet they’re already seeing money come in.
Insiders HQ’s Ran Aroussi interviews his Insiders HQ partner, Phil Mansour. Phil will be providing the traffic training to students of Insiders HQ.
Without a moment to waste, the video moves to the first interview, which was recorded live with Phil Mansour. The interview starts with the story of how Phil and Ran met. Ran and Emil were in San Diego, and Phil wanted to meet them. They met over lunch, and as Phil later goes on to say that “This year, that was the best lunch I ever had—not in terms of food, but in terms of…I learned so much.”
The interview with Phil was structured in an interesting way: at one point, it switched to the interview with Emil, and then, back to Phil. It was sort of like a 3 way call where Ran phoned Phil, then Emil, interviewed Emil, finished, and went back to Phil. This was neat because Phil was able to see the pre-recorded interview with Emil, and confirm some of the things Emil said.
Emil started Internet marketing about 3 years ago. He was a student of Ran’s in Israel. Emil’s motivation for wanting to start in Internet marketing was because he wanted to work for himself, despite the fact that he had a really good job with good benefits.
Emil tells a bit about one of the persisting challenges he had with advertising, which led him to create his own in-house software. He never intended to sell this software.

It was actually Ran’s idea that Emil offer this software, which has come to be known as PPC Bully. It went on to do very well, but the interesting thing is that PPC Bully is actually Emil (and his partner’s) smallest business. Despite how well-known it is, it’s not Emil’s biggest source of income.
(Emil seemed hesitant to admit it, but during the interview, it was implied that he was a top affiliate across a number of affiliate networks.)
After the interview with Emil, the focus switched back to Ran and Phil. Phil, who watched the interview with Emil, was able to build on what Emil had said.
Then came a brief update on the experiment that Ran and Phil were conducting. (To “put their money where their mouth is,” Ran had set up a mini-site with the goal of earning $500 to $1,000 during their Insiders HQ pre-launch, which lasts from October 1st, 2010 to October 11th, 2010, with the launch happening on the 12th.) They had started seeing some income from the site already.
Just to be clear, Phil stated that they’d be revealing more details about the experiment, since it was still going on and the results were yet to be finalized. However, Phil seemed very confident in what he was doing. (He, as the traffic instructor for Insiders HQ, was responsible for sending traffic to their experimental, case study mini-site.)
That would actually be a main part of the upcoming third video in the Insiders HQ pre-launch: Phil would detail how he drove traffic to their case study site. In this second video, Phil mentioned that he had driven traffic from 2 different sources, with tracking in place, but didn’t mention what these 2 sources were.
Maybe he will in the next video.
There’s a certain theme that’s echoed in these two interviews, which is the main focus of Insiders HQ. If we could sum it up in one or two words, it would be: long-term. It was this long-term focus that first piqued Emil’s interest in Ran, and led Emil to becoming one of Ran’s best students.
When Ran and Phil met, Ran showed Phil how to focus on the more long-term aspects of affiliate marketing, which Phil learned so much from. Sure, Phil was successful before meeting Ran, but what Ran taught him added a whole new dimension to his business.
The name of this second video was called Learning by Example, which is appropriate, considering that it featured interviews with 2 great affiliates.
Insiders HQ is an affiliate marketing training program that’s unlike most other affiliate training programs today. Insiders HQ’s Ran Aroussi has emphasized (and, Phil and Emil confirm this) that the focus here is on long-term affiliate business development. We’ve written an extensive Insiders HQ review for you to learn more from. Stay tuned for more details about the development and upcoming launch of Insiders HQ.
